“It could have all turned out so well!”

That’s what Daniel from the Bible could have thought too. Surely, this young man had plans, dreams, goals… maybe he was in love and wanted to propose to his beloved that day…

Until everything changed!

You know, Daniel was a very smart guy. It’s said that he was good-looking and healthy. He was wise, had a quick understanding, and was educated! (see Daniel 1:4 NIV).  The world was his oyster…

Until everything changed!

…and he was taken away! Far from his home and his dreams. If he had a choice, he probably wouldn’t have chosen to give up his dreams and move to a foreign land that worships other gods.

Do I hear you whispering, “I didn’t have a choice either…?”

Let’s think about this together: Daniel wasn’t taken away because he was a victim. He was taken away because he was wise, good-looking, and strong. Because he had everything the enemy desired for his service. (see Daniel 1:4 NIV)

Maybe you also don’t understand why your life or business is falling apart right now when you’ve done everything right. Maybe you feel trapped, like Daniel, and you feel like you’re in the hands of the enemy. Then approach this situation just like Daniel did:

Don’t see yourself as a victim of your situation when God wants to use you exactly in this situation because He has given you what will help others—and yourself!

Let me highlight 1 Peter 2:9 for you so you understand:

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. (1 Peter 2:9 NIV)

Trust in this:

Even if everything has changed for the worse in your life,

God can make something REALLY GOOD out of it!

You are a miracle!
